Hello,
My name is Stacy Embretson, Race Director for the 22nd Annual Long Beach International City Bank Marathon & Half Marathon on Sunday, October 15. We are in need of volunteers for the event and thought members of your neighborhood would be interested in participating. The marathon serves as a fundraiser for the following charities: Boys & Girls Club, Run to Win, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Paralysis Project & Christopher Reeves Foundation, YMCA, and Children’s Tumor Foundation to name a few. The marathon also provides many opportunities for students who need community service hours. In particular, our two-day Marathon Expo and Finish Line & Festival areas need the most attention.
