historic district logo designs

Notice the attachments below. These are some possible historic district designs. They were based on this photo from the LBFD training website.

I am working on some other ideas for the final, based on this research.

UPDATE:

The image above is the latest version... its a bitmap of the better quality pdf (attachments). However, the pdf logo is blue instead of grayscale. I prefer the gray, or even black and white, but the pdf's were created in blue in order to more closely resemble the street signs. The Historic street signs are inverted: white, with blue writing instead of blue with white writing.
