This is my third attempt to post minutes without losing content. For those who attended the meeting, please feel free to comment with additions/corrections as my rough notes were discarded.

Mayor Foster presented an overview of the infrastructure bond that will appear on the November ballot and answered questions from the audience. Details of the bond, including a copy of the handout, can be found at

www.rebuildlb.com.

Questions should be addressed either to Councilman De Long or Mayor Foster.

M. Neeley announced that a consultant has been working with City staff to develop a historic preservation overlay element that will be included in the City plan.

G. Kajer reported that the reconnaissance study of the breakwater is proceeding; she will report back when additional information is available.

D. Sundstrom reported that the board is in the process of reviewing the bylaws and will bring the revised document to the BHCA for review and approval. Elections for board members will be held the end of 08/beginning of 09. A link on the BHCA website will be created for nominations to the board.

D. Sundstrom reported that the next phase of SEADIP meetings are being held with the first scheduled 9/25 and the second October 23 @ 5:30 PM with the location TBA. The October meeting will address mobility and development. All residents are encouraged to atten
