Abandoned shopping carts are appearing all over my neighborhood. They all have a blue handle, although not all carts seem to have a market's name emblazoned somewhere on the cart. The supermarket located at 6th and Redondo has blue handles. I have found cart removal faster when I called this supermarket at 439-4004, than to call the city's abandoned cart removal number. I called this morning about the abandoned shopping cart at 6th and Loma. Who is leaving these shopping carts in the neighborhood??? If you see somebody pushing a cart, don't confront them, but merely watch to see where they go. Let me know. I can't imagine any of the neighbors on my street using a shopping cart to bring home the groceries.
