All Heights residents invited to the Belmont Heights Community Association meeting on September 12th.
The BHCA will host its monthly meeting at Fremont Elementary's auditorium at 7pm. We will be discussing the upcoming September 18th City Council agenda item on 'Mansionization' in the Heights. Other topics on the BHCA plate include helicopter noise, various public nuisances, and traffic issues.
Elections for the BHCA will be held soon, so this meeting is an opportunity for those who want to be involved in the community to come and participate. The BHCA is a neighborhood advocacy group to which any Belmont Heights resident can belong.
Come meet your neighbors and help make our community the best it can be. Visit

Mansionization
I am part of the group that does not want to see the Heights become Irvine. I strongly support reining in the granting of variances; decreasing the percentage of a lot that can be utilized for living space; and taking into account the impingement on a neighbor's ocean view, air and light.
Even if our group does not constitute the majority of the votes, please consider that we are still are a significant number of homeowners in the Heights.
Thanks!
