Long Beach City Council meeting ... This week on the Agenda is a proposal for an interim zoning ordinance to require review of all demolition permits for structures greater than 45 years in age be referred to the Housing and Neighborhoods Committee for discussion and recommendation.

Natural Gas pipeline work on 6th Street from Roswell to Termino

The Gas Department is planning work on 6th Street from Roswell to Termino starting with preliminary layout work May 7th and start of actual construction the following week. The project is about 1/10 the size of Naples and about 1/15 the size of the Belmont Shore project. There are only 22 services to customers and about 670 feet of pipeline being replaced in the street.
