Join us for our September community meeting featuring a presentation from the League of Women Voters on the propositions appearing on the upcoming ballot. The League is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated solely to voter education, and its goal is to help residents understand what’s on the ballot, not to advocate for any position. The League will focus on some of the more complex measures, including Props 40, 41, and 42, while also touching on additional items of interest. They also recommend the Easy Voter Guide, a clear, straightforward resource for understanding each proposition.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy. The BHCA is honored to once again welcome this amazing organization to a special community meeting to help us understand items in our upcoming election.
The League of Women Voters will discuss important bills and propositions and clarify the impacts of a "yes" or "no" vote in a purely non-partisan way to empower community members with as much information before we vote in the November elections.
