The Belmont Heights Community Association invites neighbors to our March Community Meeting, focused on coastal stewardship, wetlands preservation, and mobility planning in our city.
Los Cerritos Wetlands Trust
Elizabeth Lambe
Elizabeth Lambe will share an update on the Los Cerritos Wetlands and the important work being done to protect and restore one of Southern California’s most significant remaining wetland ecosystems. Learn why these wetlands matter, what progress is being made, and how the community can stay involved.
Everyone’s Coast
Yamilet Lara: Zone In Update & Mobility Plan
We’ll also hear from Yamilet Lara with an update on Everyone’s Coast, including the Zone In Update and Mobility Plan. This plan has the goals of supporting equitable housing development in Long Beach’s coastal areas and improving beach access to and from Central Long Beach through mobility investment recommendations.

Make A Difference Day is coming up on March 22, and in preparation we're running a Hygiene drive. Please bring items for a "shower kit" to any BHCA event in March.
