The Belmont Heights Community Association invites neighbors to our March Community Meeting, focused on coastal stewardship, wetlands preservation, and mobility planning in our city.

Main Speaker: Los Cerritos Wetlands Land Trust

Just a few miles from Belmont Heights lies one of our region’s most important — and most threatened — natural treasures: the Los Cerritos Wetlands.

Join us on to learn about this amazing environmental and community resource and what’s being done right now to protect and restore it.

We’re honored to welcome:

Elizabeth Lambe, Executive Director of the Los Cerritos Wetlands Land Trust

Elizabeth will share the history of the wetlands, the Trust’s ongoing advocacy work, and the fight against inappropriate development. She’ll also explain why transferring the wetlands into the public trust is key to protecting and restoring these fragile habitats for generations to come.

Heather Altman, Public Engagement Coordinator for the Southern LCW Restoration Project

Heather will walk us through details and renderings of the exciting Southern Los Cerritos Wetlands Restoration Project — the first major restoration effort of its kind. Located off Pacific Coast Highway and First Street in Seal Beach, this transformative project is already underway.

This is a unique opportunity to better understand a landscape that shapes our coastal ecosystem, supports wildlife, and strengthens our community’s environmental future.

As always, all are welcome — bring a neighbor and your curiosity. 🌊🌱

Hygiene Drive

Make a Difference Day

Make A Difference Day is coming up on March 22, and in preparation we're running a Hygiene drive. Please bring items for a "shower kit" to any BHCA event in March.

BHCA Community Meetings are open to all Belmont Heights residents. Join us to stay informed, ask questions, and be part of the conversation about the future of our neighborhood and coastline.
