MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY DRIVE

April the BHCA and BHUMC are collecting items to build personal hygiene kits for a Make A Difference Day project as well as non-perishable food items for Rising Tide, We ALWAYS collect food to feed the community.  This month we will also be collecting non-perishable items that kids will enjoy to benefit Rising Tide!

At the MADD event, volunteers will be putting together hygiene kits and delivering them to organizations to distribute to people in need. Our goal is to put together 500 kits! If you wish to help out for this event but can’t make it to our Food Drive, you can make a donation for an individual kit, a kit for 2, or for a family of 5 by clicking the following link and scrolling down!

We will be collecting the following items for hygiene kits:

New or unused, full size or travel size:

• Shampoo & Conditioner
• Body or Face Wash
• Tampons (these items are often overlooked. Tampons are expensive and NECESSARY. Pads are welcomed, but tampons are preferred).
• Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
• Razors
