About the Event
Help Keep the Red Car Greenbelt Beautiful – Monthly Weed Pull! 🌿
Neighbors, we’d love for you to join us on the last Saturday of every month from 8 to 10 AM (in the summer months) for a hands-on morning of community care in the Red Car Greenbelt. This beautiful stretch of open space is one of the hidden gems of Belmont Heights, and with your help, we can keep it looking its best.
Our monthly weed pull and native plantings are a simple and satisfying ways to connect with neighbors while helping maintain this beloved green space. Whether you have 20 minutes or two hours, every bit of help makes a difference. We’ll be removing weeds and doing light cleanup to keep the area safe and welcoming for walkers, bikers, and local wildlife.
Please bring your own gardening gloves—and if you have an extra pair or two, we welcome you to share! No special tools or experience needed, just a willingness to get your hands a little dirty in the name of neighborhood pride.
