The BHCA’s enterprising, community-based, neighborhood-centric newsletter is looking for a managing editor. The current managing editor needs more time with her family, particularly with her elementary school-aged children.
Our newsletter is a quarterly publication, all staff are volunteers, and the work of the managing editor is spread over a roughly 2 week period every quarter. The job is more planning and coordinating rather than writing. Not a high pressure, anxiety generating job. It’s actually quite fun (have we sold you yet?) The managing editor will gain insights into the community, work with a talented group of writers and editors and our outstanding design/layout professional.
