Dear Business Owner,

The Belmont Heights Community Association is inviting local businesses to join us for a special community fundraiser on Saturday, August 15, as we work to preserve the historic gas lamp-style lampposts that have helped define Belmont Avenue for generations.

Our Save Our Historic Lampposts Block Party will bring neighbors together for live music, food, community connection, and fundraising to support the restoration and preservation of these unique historic features. We're hoping local businesses will be part of this effort.

There are several ways to participate:

  • Host a food booth or vendor stall If your business already has the permits required to serve food at community events, we'd love to discuss having you join us. Participating businesses may choose to share a portion of event proceeds to support the lamppost restoration project.

  • Donate items for our silent auction or raffle Gift cards, products, services, experiences, and other donations help us raise funds while showcasing the wonderful businesses that make our community special.

  • Make a direct sponsorship donation Financial contributions of any size will go directly toward preserving Belmont Heights' historic lampposts.

To participate, talk to one of our representatives, Vickie Fullerton or Julie Folcik or email ads@mybelmontheights.org

As a thank-you, every participating business will receive:

  • Recognition as an official event sponsor

  • A thank-you mention in the BHCA newsletter

  • Recognition through BHCA event and promotional materials

  • One year of complimentary Business Membership with the Belmont Heights Community Association, including a listing in our Business Directory

This project is about more than restoring infrastructure. It's about preserving the character, history, and sense of place that make Belmont Heights such a special neighborhood. We hope you'll join us in helping protect this piece of our shared heritage.

If you're interested in participating or would like more information, please contact  Vickie Fullerton or Julie Folcik or email ads@mybelmontheights.org. We'd love to work with you.

Thank you for supporting our community.

Warmly,

Belmont Heights Community Association
