Summer 2025 Newsletter Is Here!

Summer is in full swing, and so is the Belmont Heights spirit. We're excited to share the Summer 2025 edition of the BHCA newsletter—a collection of stories, celebrations, and community momentum that reflect who we are and where we're headed.

Inside, you'll find a heartwarming recap of Make a Difference Day, where neighbors of all ages rolled up their sleeves to beautify our streets, parks, and public spaces. From mulch to murals, your dedication continues to inspire.

We're also proud to spotlight one of our own—a Belmont Heights resident who has just been named a Rhodes Scholar. Their journey from local therapy to global recognition reminds us of the power of community roots and big dreams.

In our ongoing efforts to revitalize and reclaim green space, our new neighborhood club focused on the Redcar Greenbelt is reimagining what’s possible. It's grassroots action at its finest.

This edition also features a tribute to John Rockmore, whose quiet leadership and deep love for Belmont Heights left a lasting legacy. His story is one of service, kindness, and unwavering commitment.

And if you're looking to be inspired creatively, don’t miss our feature on Flux, a neighborhood art gallery making waves with bold exhibits and a welcoming space for emerging voices.

Whether you’re reading from your porch or a shady patch in Livingston Park, we hope this issue makes you feel connected, informed, and proud to be part of Belmont Heights.
