Calling Local Musicians & DJs: Let’s Make Some Block Party Magic

We’re putting together a neighborhood block party right here in Belmont Heights, and we’re looking for local musicians, acoustic performers, and DJs who’d like to be part of it.
This isn’t a big commercial festival—it’s something better: neighbors gathering in the street, music drifting through the afternoon air, kids dancing on sidewalks, and a shared effort to raise funds for a local preservation project that matters deeply to our community.
We’re hoping to create a rotating lineup throughout the event, so sets can be short, relaxed, and flexible. Whether you’re an acoustic guitarist, a jazz trio, a vinyl DJ, or someone with a great playlist and a love of community energy—we’d love to hear from you.
🎤 What we can offer:
A lively, appreciative neighborhood audience
Promotion across local community channels
A welcoming, low-pressure setup (no big stage ego required—just good vibes)
A chance to be part of a fundraiser that supports preserving the character of our streets and shared spaces
🎧 What we’re looking for:
Short sets (20–45 minutes preferred, flexible)
Family-friendly music and atmosphere
Local artists who love being part of community gatherings
DJs willing to help keep the energy flowing between live sets
If you’re interested (or know someone who’d be perfect), please reach out with a little bit about yourself, your style, and what equipment you might need.

We’re building this block party the old-fashioned way—neighbor to neighbor, artist to audience, street to street—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Let’s make something joyful together.
